Common Questions
What people ask about their report.
Is my website actually at risk?
This report scans publicly visible information -- the same things an attacker or search engine sees. Issues marked in red represent real gaps. A missing SSL certificate means visitor data is sent in plain text. Missing email authentication means anyone can send emails pretending to be your business. These aren't theoretical -- they're active risks.
How accurate is this scan?
Very. We check the same things that security professionals and Google look for. However, we can only see what's publicly visible. Internal issues like weak passwords, unpatched plugins, or database vulnerabilities require a deeper assessment.
Can I fix these things myself?
Some things are straightforward -- like adding a meta description or setting up Google Analytics. Others, like security headers, email authentication, and server configuration, typically need a web developer or IT professional. Each issue in your report includes a "How to fix" guide.
What score should I aim for?
An A (90+) means your site is well-configured across the board. Most small business websites score between 40-70. Anything below 60 means there are meaningful issues that are likely costing you visitors, search rankings, or both.
How often should I run this?
After making changes, run it again to verify the fixes worked. Beyond that, quarterly scans are a good habit. SSL certificates expire, software gets outdated, and new best practices emerge. Regular checks catch problems early.
Find out where you stand.
Most business owners don't know what's wrong with their website until a customer tells them -- or a search engine buries them. This report gives you the full picture.
